Project dependencies
Project dependencies describe the order in which work needs to happen. Use them when a project is waiting on another project, or when its work is blocking a later project.
Add a dependency
- Open the project's Overview tab.
- Select Blocked by or Blocking in the properties.
- Select the related project.
| Relationship | Meaning for the current project |
|---|---|
| Blocked by | It is waiting on the selected project. |
| Blocking | The selected project is waiting on it. |
Remove a dependency
Use the remove action beside an existing relationship.
For individual tasks, use issue relations.
