Getting started

Sync, clone, and review with Forge

This target workflow synchronizes code, delivers it to local tools or agents, and reviews PRs. It describes the experience to execute once the corresponding commands are available.

  1. Authenticate and explicitly select workspace and repository.
  2. Request GitHub mirror creation or synchronization and retain the job ID.
  3. Inspect completion or failure using that ID even after closing the terminal.
  4. Clone/fetch from Forge using short-lived credentials and verify the acquired commit SHA.
  5. Read PRs, diffs, Checks, and unresolved threads; return an evidence-based review.
  6. If submission or merging is needed, verify permissions, target head, and write direction, execute, and read back the result.

Return repository, sync job, acquired SHA, PR number, and Checks/thread state. Enable writes in phase 7.
