update
This page is the command reference for @orchestor-inc/cli.
orc update detects the install owner of the running CLI and delegates to that owner's update command. It does not overwrite a package managed by another install owner.

--check reports the install owner, current version, latest version, and planned command without updating.

Update notifications
After an interactive command succeeds, the CLI checks for a new version at most once every 20 hours. If an update is available, it prints the update command for the detected install owner to stderr. It skips notifications for machine-readable output, orc update --check, and development builds.
Set ORCHESTOR_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1 to disable the check and notification. This setting does not disable a manual orc update.
