# Edit issues

Edit an issue's title, description, and properties in its details. Use comments to discuss the work.

## Edit content

Open an issue from the list and edit its title or description. Use the attachment control to add files.

## Change properties

Select a status, priority, assignee, label, project, or due date to change it. Properties and the context menu in the list also provide editing actions.

## Select issues

Hover a row and select its checkbox. Hold Shift while selecting another row to select the range between them.

In a list, hover a group heading to replace its chevron with a checkbox. Select it to select the whole group, and select it again to clear the group. On a board, choose **Select all in column** from the column menu.

## Edit multiple issues

Use the selection toolbar or context menu to choose a change. For deletion, review the selected items in the confirmation dialog.

Check the success and failure counts after the operation. Failed issues remain selected. When the result notification offers **Undo**, it restores the successful changes.

## Comment on an issue

Enter a message in the comment field and post it. You can reply to existing comments and add reactions.
