# Overview

Orchestor Space is where a workspace organizes and shares documents, sheets, and uploaded files.

Data is organized in this hierarchy:

- **Workspace**: the unit an API key belongs to. Every Space operation works on one workspace's data.
- **Project**: the project shared with agents. Folders and fields can be scoped to a project.
- **Folder**: a container for pages and files. Folders can be nested.
- **Page**: a document or a sheet. Pages can be shown to outside people through share links or guests.

Pages and files carry system fields, such as creator and update time, and values for the custom fields the workspace defines.

The [REST API tab](https://orchestor.io/docs/space/rest-api.md) explains how to use the API.
