# search_tools

Find additional read-only tools by purpose or name. Write and preview operations are excluded.

**Operation:** Read-only. The authenticated hosted connection determines the workspace.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | string | Yes | Search terms matched against tool names and descriptions. Min characters: 1 |
| `limit` | integer | No | Maximum number of results. Minimum: 1; Maximum: 25 |

The default `limit` is 10. Search terms are matched against tool names and descriptions; all terms must match.
