# execute_tool

Run a discovered read-only tool by its exact name and arguments.

**Operation:** Read-only. The authenticated hosted connection determines the workspace.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `tool_name` | string | Yes | Exact name of the discovered read-only tool to run. Min characters: 1 |
| `arguments` | object | No | Arguments matching the schema from get_tool_schema. |

Call `search_tools`, then `get_tool_schema` before execution. Only discovered read-only operations can run through this tool. Required arguments depend on the selected tool.
