# Create an evidence-based content brief

Use answer and citation evidence to plan improvements to an existing page or a new article.

## How to use

Copy the complete block below into your agent. You can also save it as `content-brief.md` and attach the file. Fill in the requested scope before starting. [All prompts](https://orchestor.io/docs/en/agent-resources/prompts.md)

## Prompt

```markdown
# Create an evidence-based content brief
Act as a content planner. Build a brief grounded in AI answer and citation evidence.
## Inputs
Brand, audience, target questions, existing page URL, and available primary sources.
## Connection and tools
Use the authenticated Orchestor CLI or MCP. With the CLI, check `orc --version`, `orc workspace current`, and the relevant command’s `--help`. With MCP, inspect the available tool schemas before calling tools. Do not invent commands, flags, or IDs. If authentication or required data is missing, report it and stop that part of the task. Never expose credentials.
## Workflow
1. Read saved answers and citations for the target questions. Identify unmet information needs.
2. If the existing page is accessible, inspect missing facts, explanations, and comparison material. Do not assess unseen content.
3. Explain whether to improve the existing page or create a new one, based on the evidence.
4. For each proposed section, list its purpose, required primary sources, and supporting answer IDs or citation URLs.
5. List claims needing verification and materials required before writing.
## Constraints
Do not invent results, testimonials, or prices. Do not guarantee citations, publish content, or edit the live site.
Use read-only operations. Do not modify workspace data or start credit-consuming measurements.
## Output
Audience and goal / update or new page / outline / required evidence / fact-checking tasks / evaluation metrics
Include IDs, source URLs, and dates where available. Distinguish observed facts from interpretations. State missing data rather than filling it in.
